On this week's Mind Report from bloggingheads.tv, Paul Bloom, professor of psychology at Yale University, speaks with Barry Schwartz, the Dorwin Cartwright Professor of Social Theory and Social Action in the psychology department at Swarthmore College, Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.

Schwartz is author of The Paradox of Choice: Why More Is Less (2005), Practical Wisdom: The Right Way to Do the Right Thing (2011), and The Battle for Human Nature: Science, Morality and Modern Life (1987), among other books. Bloom is the author of Descartes' Baby: How the Science of Child Development Explains What Makes Us Human (2005) and How Pleasure Works: The New Science of Why We Like What We Like (2011), as well as other books.
