The third Copernicus Center Lecture - "Our Emotional Brains" - was delivered by Joseph LeDoux, neuroscientist, author, and professor at the Center for Neural Science at New York University. The 2011 Copernicus Center Lecture was part of the 15th Kraków Methodological Conference - "The Emotional Brain: From the Humanities to Neuroscience and Back Again," which was co-organized by the Copenicus Center for Interdisciplinary Studies.
LeDoux is author of Synaptic Self: How Our Brains Become Who We Are and The Emotional Brain: The Mysterious Underpinnings of Emotional Life - both of which are outstanding books.
