And away we go . . . .
~ Jay at The Zero Boss is hosting "Blogging for Books." The task is simple:
If you don't have your own blog, Jay offers options.You can create fiction or nonfiction, comedy or drama, and capture your brilliance in either a blog post or as a podcast - but all entries must center around one of these three topics:
- A disastrous work or personal project you sweared, Captain Ahab-style, to see to the end;
- A relationship you wouldn’t let die, even though everybody else around you knew how bad it was;
- An idea or philosophy you held for years, as friends and family prayed that you’d eventually regain your sanity.
Once you’ve composed your work, publish the permalink as a comment on this article. (Email me if you’re having trouble leaving comments.) You have until 6am U.S Pacific Time on Monday, August 14th, to submit your entry. My wife and I will whittle the entries down to the top seven, and I will include all seven on the first-ever Blogging for Books Podcast. Shortly after that, guest author Stephanie Lehmann will peruse the top seven, and choose her favorite three entries. All three winners receive a free copy of one of Stephanie’s books!
