Amazonia: Healing With Sacred Plants (Documentary)

The narrator of this documentary, the psychologist and anthropologist Alberto Villoldo, is the author of many books related to shamanism, including Healing States: A Journey Into the World of Spiritual Healing and Shamanism (1987, with Stanley Krippner, Ph.D.), Shaman, Healer, Sage: How to Heal Yourself and Others with the Energy Medicine of the Americas (2000), and Illumination: The Shaman's Way of Healing (2011).

Villoldo combines the neuroscience of entheogens such as ayahuasca with a deep belief in the spiritual realms revealed by the plant. What we get, then, is another form of neurotheology.
