John McCain sat down with Jon Stewart last night on The Daily Show. In the first part, McCain quotes Chairman Mao: "It's always darkest before it's totally black." Never heard that aphorism before, but I like it. Part Two is when they get to real issues.

i really find it hard to overlook the fact that GWBush is so sure that John McCain would be the next president of the U.S. this worries me.
but i'm glad to hear that McCain promised to run an honest campaign focused on issues. we'll see. he's been getting a lot of flack from Democrats already. see http://www.democrats.com/john-mccain
