The title UCTV gave the video is misleading - the lecture was called Synaesthesia in Mystical Traditions, the Arts, and Cognitive Neuroscience, by Bissera V. Pentcheva and Kevin Dann. It's from 2008, but that does not impact on the experience of the presentation.
Arts and Cognitive Neuroscience
Experiences in which the senses are intermingled in usual ways are a common motif in the descriptions that mystics provide of their unordinary sensory experiences. This workshop examines the phenomenon of synaesthesia from a multi-disciplinary perspective in order to advance our understanding of the relationship between synaesthesia, metaphor, creativity, and religious and artistic practices. Series: "Humanitas" [4/2008]
