The Disintegration of Glenn Beck

http://www.newscorpse.com/Pix/Caps/evangelist-beck.jpg

CNN/Headline News got rid of Glenn Beck because he had become unpredictable and irrational in many of his rants. Fox News scooped up him and his loyal conspiracy-loving viewers. But even Fox News must be concerned with how little sense Beck makes these days.

For a while it was easy to write off Beck as just a fringe conservative being manipulated by his media overlords to further their agenda to keep Americans watching one hand while the other hand steals them blind (literally [money] and metaphorically [rights and liberties]). It's not so easy to write him off that way now - he is a human being who seems to be losing touch with reality.

To anyone on the outside, those who don't watch him regularly, it would appear that he has come progressively unglued. I believe it's time to consider that this "dry drunk" may not be mentally well. Someone needs to step in if, indeed, he is in need of help.

Even Joe Scarborough is questioning his sanity it seems.

I could care less that Fox News might suffer, or that the conservatives might suffer, or that the GOP might suffer - and I don't like anything about Beck. BUT, if this guy is ill, someone needs to get him some assistance. It's alarming (and the norm) that the conservatives are only concerned about their cause and their reputation - not about the man they use when it serves them.

He needs mental health care - sooner than later.

Glenn Beck is the id of the elite. He speaks the dark fears of global revolution in stark, raving terms that the Davos types and bankers cannot say out loud.

As such, he ain't going no where, and if he does crack, someone else will take his place.

I don´t think I like the tone of this post. It is not a judgment of facts what has been done here, but a judgment of values that includes an ad Hominem attack. It really surprised me coming from this blog.

What this post defends is the idea that someone should be shut up because he allegedly is “mentally hill” — and that conclusion is merely a subjective one. That seems to be an old Marxist ideological strategy. Therefore, the guy who wrote this post is, at least, so irrational as the irrationality he attributes for Glen Beck.

I would not be surprised that this comment would be censured; it comes with the ideology.

When a person starts to see connections all over the place, and conspiracies and that he and everyone are threatened, it is an alarm.

Glenn Beck very probably needs to take some time off from work, at the instigation of his employer, Fox, and to be matched up with a psychiatrist that Beck can trust.

This is only about Beck's welfare.

Sure, Fox will bring in someone else. This isn't about ideology. It clearly looks like Beck needs a break from pressure he is experiencing. There are clear signs that he is suffering. For him to continue in the manner he is displaying would be to his personal detrement.
