Little League World Series

I've never watched the Little League World Series before -- this year it was Georgia and Japan in the final. The game went 8 innings (6 is the normal length of a game), and Georgia won with a walk-off home run. Yeah, it was good game as baseball goes, but I'm not a big baseball fan.

After a brief celebration, the Georgia players went out to congratulate the Japanese players, many of whom were crying, having just lost the biggest game of their young lives.

The Georgia players didn't just shake the hands of their opponents, they hugged them -- some seemed to actually be comforting their vanquished opponent. It was moving.

These kids showed the true meaning of sports.
