Gratitude
Today the temperature in Tucson reached the mid-90's, and it'll stay there for the rest of the week. Summer in the Sonoran Desert has arrived. As I enter my fifth summer here, I think I finally have become adapted to the heat. For that I am grateful.
I am also grateful that my heart has softened enough to allow in the pain I see around me -- and feel it as pain rather than bury it beneath anger.
What are you grateful for?
