I had to the priviledge of seeing him perform live in one of the meeting rooms at the University of Georgia in the late 1980s. I sat in the front row with my jaw on the ground in amazement.
It is impossible to put into words how incredibly talented he was. He played the neck of the guitar like a piano, creating sounds, counter-melodies, etc. that would normally require two people to produce.
