Tony the Tiger in Tibet?
From The Worst Horse:
So, this seems to have offended some people:
So, this seems to have offended some people:
It trades in stereotypes, so it may be offensive, but they are positive stereotypes in this case. It's also well done and nice to look at. And besides, it's kind of funny.Ross learned of it from the Gelug Yahoo Group, where someone there learned of it via the Candle4Tibet Network. Some of the discussion around it has been whether or not it’s offensive, especially to Tibetans. Maybe it is. Maybe it’s also great-looking and kinda cool. Maybe it’s all three.

John McCain Has Jumped the Shark
John McCain has jumped the shark . . . already. And it's so early in the campaign season.
By now, most of you have seen his moronic "Celeb" ad equating Barack Obama with Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. If not, here it is:
Beside the just plain insulting (and ignorant) equation of Obama with spoiled starlets, his continued reliance on the off-shore drilling argument assumes the American public does not understand that any oil that might come from such drilling would not impact gas prices for several years -- and unfortunately, he is correct, the populace is that stupid (2 out of 3 agree with Bush and McCain about drilling).
But if you don't believe me, just ask the government:
But, hey, McCain's a maverick, and like his buddy W., he'd never let the facts get in the way of a politically expedient argument.

According to the federal government's own Department of Energy, drilling off America's coasts would not have a significant impact on domestic oil production or prices before 2030. And off-shore leasing wouldn't even begin before 2012.Oops.
