Cultivating Calmness, Loving-kindness & Empathy
Speaker: Geshe Kelsang Damdul
The more we allow the mind to be disturbed or occupied by negative emotion, the more we must work to transform the mind into peace. This action is not only for ourselves; in this age of intricate and fast connection, anything we do will be felt in our community and world. If we meet each moment with a calm mind, we send this exact message into the world. Additionally, it is only through a calm mind that our true nature can be seen and that our negative emotions dissolve. Then, a strong sense of self-worth and love will extend into the greater community.
