Gratitude 7/28/07

A couple of things I am grateful for today:

1) I re-watched Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring for the first time in a couple of years. This is a truly beautiful Buddhist film on the nature of attachment, the power of forgiveness and surrender, and the cycles of life.

2) We had some serious monsoon rains today -- more than three hours of heavy and steady rain. Much needed and appreciated.

What are you grateful for today?

Thanks for reminding me of that film. It's been a long while since I last watched it. I may try to convince my girlfriend to humour my Buddhist tendencies (she's Catholic herself) and watch that tonight.

My non-Buddhist ex from a couple of years ago watched it with me and liked it.

Maybe if you don't tell her it's a Buddhist film?

Peace,
Bill
