Karuna Cayton: The Misleading Mind, Authors at Google

Nice talk. Karuna Cayton is the author of The Misleading Mind: How We Create Our Own Problems and How Buddhist Psychology Can Help Us Solve Them.

Google has disabled embedding (how annoying is that?), so you can watch the video at their YouTube page.

Karuna Cayton: The Misleading Mind, Authors at Google

Psychotherapist and author Karuna Cayton talks about his book The MIsleading Mind: How We Create Our Own Problems and How Buddhist Psychology Can Help Us Solve Them. He introduces a process for working with, rather than against, depression, anxiety, and stress by recognizing the habitual ways our minds perceive, react, and ultimately mislead us. He also presents practical exercises for stepping onto the path of a radically liberating self-understanding. While the essence of the wisdom he presents is central to Buddhism, he covers it in a way that is accessible to all.

KARUNA CAYTON is the author of The Misleading Mind. He's a psychotherapist who spent twelve years working with Tibetan refugees in Nepal and studying with Buddhist masters. His Karuna Group practice applies Buddhist psychology to individual and organizational clients. You can visit him online at http://www.karunagroup.com
