Here is another video talk from Stanford's CCARE (Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education). This one features Dr. Paul Ekman, a psychologist who pioneered the study of emotions and their relation to facial expressions. He has created an 'atlas of emotions' with more than ten thousand facial expressions, and has gained a reputation as "the best human lie detector in the world" (according to Wikipedia).
Dr. Ekman is the author of many books, including Unmasking the Face: A Guide to Recognizing Emotions From Facial Expressions (2003), Emotions Revealed, Second Edition: Recognizing Faces and Feelings to Improve Communication and Emotional Life (2007), Emotional Awareness: Overcoming the Obstacles to Psychological Balance and Compassion (2009, with the Dalai Lama), and Telling Lies: Clues to Deceit in the Marketplace, Politics, and Marriage (2009).
