Dan Gilbert explains why we are not particularly well suited to solving the issues of global warming, whether you believe it is caused by humans or not. Gilbert has a great sense of humor, and is clearly liberal, but don't let that deter you -- this is good stuff.
I wonder: Are we bound by our biology in this instance? How much variation is there in individuals when it comes to affective forecasting?
