The Eliot Spitzer "Scandal"
This ain't news -- I'm down with C4Chaos' take on this thing (read to the bottom).
Then again, Lewis Black has a pretty good take on it, too.
It's news that he resigned, and the scandal is that he had to resign. It's not news that men (including men in high places) pay for sex sometimes. It's not right, but it's not news.
If he were an athlete, people would just ignore it or look the other way. But politicians are held to a higher standard. Rightfully so? I don't know. He is a preacher.
The governor of one of the big states resigning isn't news?

I just don't think it's worth all the hoopla.
Peace,
Bill
