Remember When "Baseball Player" Was a Respectable Occupation?

I do. Two of the last guys from that era were inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame today.

Cal Ripkin, Jr. defined dedication and consistency.

Tony Gwynn turned hitting into a science.

Ah, those were the days. (Damn, I'm sounding old.)
