Mark Lanegan Band - Resurrection Song (live)
Mark Lanegan is, without question, one of the best singer/songwriters no one has ever heard of. He performs live here with Queens of the Stone Age. Maybe some of you old-timers or Northwesterners remember Lanegan from The Screaming Trees?
Great tune. Mark Lanegan's voice is incredibly soulful. I remember the Screaming Trees from the Singles soundtrack ("I nearly lost you there"). Kick ass.
His solo work is much better than anything he did with Screaming Trees, as good as that band was. I once paid $50 to see him open with an acoustic set for Johnny Cash. The Man in Black was pretty good too.
