It makes for a fascinating glimpse of what the future might hold.<br /><br />I'd say we cannot hold back these kinds of innovations. But we should be prepared to carefully assess and possibly even regulate certain aspects of neurological enhancement, just as we (try to) do with performance enhancing drugs for athletes today.<br /><br />Even today there are very natural and positive ways for people to exercise and improve their brains. Mindfulness therapy and meditation have been shown to bring about changes in the brain.
