The...I agree wholeheartedly with your perspective. The "inner critics" (and there are usually more than one) are all an integral part of who we are. <br /><br />The "self" is really a continuing conference of all the inner voices, both the compassionate ones, the transcendent ones, the victimized ones, as well as the critical ones.<br /><br />Personally, I believe that one healthy approach is to identify each of the voices current at a certain time, and give them each an airing, as in a real conference. Write down what each of them feels or thinks, as if you're writing a play made up of your own characters.<br /><br />For me, at least, this is a liberating way to give voice to the various aspects of the self and to achieve a more integrated experience of living.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
