Focusing is a place beyond right and wrong just as Rumi described. When I am in that place I can just be with…be with the other, be with myself and be with where we connect. That for me is the most sacred place I have ever discovered.

For me, the times I most consistently feel connected to “all that is”, “the sacred”, “divine energy” or whatever other word works for each person; is when I am present with the felt shift as a listening partner. In that moment, when the Focuser, connects with something deep and true for them, the whole space around us somehow allows me to connect with something deep and true in me. And in that moment, I, the dualistic ego-thinker drops away and my body-heart-mind expands, the borders melt away, and a sensation of love, wonder, and gratitude flood through me.

When I am the one Focusing I also experience self love, acceptance, wonder and gratitude but my response is more directed towards “my experience” and so an element of duality remains and I open to a wondrous divine wisdom inside.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
